Yamaha TZR250

Yamaha TZR250

Yamahas TZR range took over from the RD range in the UK as the two-stroke sports bike in the early 1990’s. The original 250 1KT became our 2MA. The later 3MA (reverse cylinder) & 3XV (V-Twin) followed. All inspired by Yamahas ‘TZ’ race bikes, they all feature light chassis, high power engines & powerful brakes.

The super trick 3MA & 3XV feature many high performance technologies that were the zenith of two stroke engine development. Dry clutch ‘SP’ variants also appeared for the sports production racing series. All TZR models are desirable & make an excellent choice for collectors & classic racers.
