Yamaha RD250LC

Yamaha RD250LC

The ‘LC’ is the two-stroke legend of the 1980’s. Light & fast, this bike could blow bigger bikes away in a haze of blue smoke. Wrist tugging power band & power wheelies made it a firm UK favourite. Evolved into YPVS powered bikes & later TZR & R1Z, but many still want the original, pure LC.

‘Mars bars’ & ‘Bounty’ colours the best & factory code ‘4LO’ & ‘4L1’ are the ones to have. A recently auctioned ‘new in box ’4LO’ made over £30K! Quality & condition vary more than most, watch out for ‘modifications’ – Collectors want standard.
