Kawasaki KR-1S

Kawasaki KR-1S

Kawasaki launches the KR1 in 1988 to get in on the 250cc sports bike market. It was developed into the 1989 B2, 1990 C2 & 1991 C3, Improvements being made all the way. These bikes had a reputation for high power & speed when compared to the other offerings – TZR, RG & NS.

This came at the cost of engine life, but most owners accepted this as part of the bikes nature. Very light, very nice handling & powerful brakes made the KR1S a favourite for track & road.
